What is Spektarim

Spektarim is a smart farm management system that brings data to farming. Every job you do in the field gets recorded, and every record becomes data for the next decision. It suggests holding off irrigation when rain is on the way and waiting to spray on windy days, and at season’s end it shows in numbers which parcel paid off. Field sensors and AI come next. Our goal is for every decision on the farm to rest on data.

What it does

What does Spektarim bring to your farm today?

Weather alerts, irrigation and spraying tips, a planning calendar, field records, inventory and profitability reports: everything you need to run your farm efficiently, ready today.

7-day forecast for Akhisar: −1° on 12 April, an irrigation tip and days unsuitable for spraying

See weather risk coming

Frost, hail, storm and drought risk, worked out from the 7-day forecast. Frost during your crop’s sensitive period comes as a critical alert.

Critical frost alerts for olives and wheat; a spraying plan that is due, with a note on unsuitable days

Pick the right day

Suggests postponing irrigation when rain is due, and holding off spraying on windy or wet days.

Upper Orchard's 2027 crop calendar: completed work, spraying that is due, planned tasks and last year's marks

Plan the year on one calendar

Plan each parcel’s year by early, mid and late month. Jobs that are due or running late show up as alerts in your dashboard.

New maintenance record on a phone: Yukarı Bahçe, spraying, 40 litres of copper fungicide

Log it from the field

Irrigation, fertilizer, spraying, pruning, harvest. A few taps on your phone, right where the work happens.

Inventory: in-shell walnuts, olives, olive oil, wheat and more

Stock, from harvest to sale

Harvested produce goes straight into inventory, and sales are deducted automatically. Processing, like pressing olives into oil, is easy to manage as a production step.

Which parcel paid off?

Track income, costs and net profit by parcel and by year, and see your finances clearly at season’s end.

How it works

We set it up. You make the calls.

  1. Talk

We learn about your farm, your crops and what you need.

  2. Setup

We set up your parcels, crops and alert settings. Your dashboard arrives ready to use.

  3. Use

You log the daily work. Spektarim crunches the numbers, tracks the plan and flags the risks.

What’s next

Your fields are about to start talking.

Soil sensors will measure soil moisture and temperature in the field. Paired with the forecast, every recommendation will be specific to your parcel. AI will act as a digital assistant that explains recommendations in plain words and comments on your season report. We’ll set the recommendation rules together with an agricultural engineer. The final call is always yours. Our goal is to see disease risk early so you spray only when it’s needed: less pesticide, lower costs.

What should I do in the field today?

Soil moisture is at 18%, below your threshold, but 6 mm of rain is due tomorrow. Leave irrigation until Thursday. Olive leaf spot risk is low, so there’s no need to spray this week.

Roadmap

What’s here today, what’s next.

Live today

  • Maintenance, harvest, inventory and finance records
  • Frost, hail, storm and drought alerts
  • Irrigation timing tips and days unsuitable for spraying
  • Calendar and plan alerts
  • Reports by year and parcel

Next

  • First pilot on our family farm (in preparation)
  • Soil-sensor recommendations
  • Disease-risk alerts from weather data, so you skip spraying when there is no risk
  • Phone notifications
  • Plain-language explanations of recommendations (AI)
  • Season report commentary (AI)

Later

  • Log from a quick note: type “Spread 2 bags of fertilizer on parcel 3” and it becomes a record
  • Pest and disease identification from a photo
  • Expenses from a photo of a receipt or invoice
  • Parcels on a map
  • Anonymous summary reports for cooperatives

Order and scope may change. Items are marked “In development” once work begins.

About

Born on our own farm.

I come from a farming family in Türkiye’s Aegean region. We mostly grow walnuts and olives, and sometimes wheat and sunflowers. When was this parcel last sprayed? Which crop actually paid off this year? Will frost hit tonight? The questions we ran into in the field every day became the starting point for Spektarim. That’s why the first pilot is being set up on our own farm, and every feature will be tried on our own fields first.

Abdullah Tuna · Founder

We build Spektarim with Anthropic’s Claude Code.

Our name blends “spectrum” and “tarım”, the Turkish word for farming. A spectrum holds every color of light; we want to bring the soil’s hidden data into view.

Are there sensors today?

Not yet. Sensor-based recommendations are the next big step on our roadmap. Today’s recommendations are based on the weather forecast.

What does AI do today?

There’s no AI in the app yet. Alerts and suggestions run on clear rules with adjustable thresholds. AI features are next.

Do I need technical skills?

No. We do the setup, so your parcels and settings arrive ready. You only log the daily work.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Spektarim runs in the browser on your phone or computer, with nothing to install. Screens are designed to stay readable outdoors, even in bright sun.

Is the app in English?

Not yet. The app is in Turkish for now; English support will come later.
